PWD to install rain garden at the rec center’s cement playground as part of a larger watershed project

 

A representative from the Philadelphia Water Department came to the Community Center on Thursday (6/26/14) and gave a presentation with slides of the PWD’s upcoming project to build a rain garden at the Cement Park (704 N. 3rd Street) as part of the Green City, Clean Waters project.

Construction will begin in 2015, but the planners are looking for input now.
