Liberty Lands is a private park, wholly owned and maintained by community volunteers.Please join the group of neighbors who run the park by attending a Liberty Lands committee meeting, held at the Community Center on the second Thursday of each month at 7PM.

There are residences on all sides of Liberty Lands, please no amplified sound or music.
If you plan to host a large gathering, make a reservation.

Liberty Lands is a DIY park project started and maintained by neighbors, including you!
As a neighbor, you play a vital role in keeping the park clean and safe for your own enjoyment and others.
Children should be under appropriate adult supervision at all times.
Be gentle to our plants. Please don’t pick the flowers. Some park facilities are for maintenance use only. Please do not use the hose outlets, electrical outlets, compost bins, or anything marked Authorized Use Only without specific permission.
No motorized vehicles are allowed at the park.

All dogs must be leashed at Liberty Lands at all times. If your dog, needs exercise, Orianna Hill Park is right across the street.
Pick up the poop! Doggie bags are available for your convenience.

If you are able to carry your trash and recyclables out, please do! Cans are available for your convenience, but please note they are emptied by volunteers so please pour out liquids, tie off doggie bags, flatten boxes, and don’t overflow the containers.

General Information

If you are using Liberty Lands for a business purpose (photography, group workouts, daycare) a reservation and an insurance certificate is required when applicable.

Compost drop-off occurs between 11am-12pm every Saturday. Please reach out to nolibscompost@gmail.com for more info.

A locked port-a-potty is available near the playground for Potty Club members. Membership is $50 per year, per family. Send an email to reservations@nlna.org to join.

Liberty Lands is a popular setting for parties! To ensure space is available, making a reservation is recommended. If you plan to set up party infrastructure (tents, play areas, etc) a reservation is required so that appropriate accommodations can be made.

If an emergency occurs at the park, please call 911.
If a non-emergency incident occurs, please call the 26th Police District at (215) 686-3260.
Once you have reported the incident to the proper authorities, please let us know.
