Liberty Lands Community Garden Plots

Liberty Lands Community Gardens has roughly 30 garden plots, each of which are “rented” and maintained on a year-to-year basis by individual gardeners or groups. There is a waiting list for plots. We encourage anyone interested in a plot to turn up for park workdays or volunteer to help in the public gardens at the park. Current volunteers have first priority for available garden plots, but there are always opportunities to start gardening right away!To be added to the Liberty Lands waiting list, contact LibertyLandsCommunityGarden@gmail.com.For information about volunteering in the public gardens, contact Janet at park@nlna.org.There are three other community gardens in Northern Liberties that are separately managed, and have their own waiting lists:Seedy Acres on Leithgow Street – contact Sue at suewhitbee@gmail.comOrianna Hill Park on Poplar Street – contact Monika at mmkreidie@gmail.comSpooky Garden on N. 4th Street – contact Linda thespookygarden@gmail.com
