From the Northern Liberties Veterinary Center...

To our valued AMVC and NLVC Family,

During the Covid-19 pandemic veterinary offices have been busier than ever before. We are doing our best to accommodate all of our current clients while helping new clients and pets as well. Our office has been consistently working to make the drop off process as smooth as possible for both owners and their pets. In order to continue seeing as many pets as possible while giving them all the attention they deserve, we ask that you review our late and no-show policies.

Lateness Policy: You are encouraged to call if you are running late so we can go over the options with you. If you are more than 10 minutes late and we do not hear from you, you may be asked to reschedule or, depending on our availability, pay an emergency fee to be seen.

No Show Policy: We have a waiting list every day for clients who want to get their pets in to be seen. Every no-show appointment is a spot that could have been given to a sick pet. There is no cancellation fee; if you are unable to make it to your appointment please call our office and let us know so we can give that spot to someone else. Any appointment that no shows will be required to pay a non-refundable deposit next time they schedule an appointment.

Walk In/Emergency Services: Our offices both operate by appointment only. If you need immediate pet care and do not want to go to a veterinary ER, we ask that you call our office.

Existing Client Sick Visits: We continue to reserve open appointment times for same-day sick appointments for our existing clients/patients. For existing clients, we may be able to triage over the phone or through videos/pictures to determine what the next step should be for your pet. In certain cases a telemedicine triage will be enough to determine a treatment plan without a visit being necessary. If your pet has to be seen, our team will work to coordinate your pet's visit. An increase in same-day sick visits does mean that scheduling your pet's wellness/annual visit may occur up to several weeks in advance.

Please schedule recheck appointments and vaccine booster appointments as soon as possible. Both of our locations are currently booked for a week or more in advance so it will be difficult to get a routine appointment scheduled at the last minute. You are encouraged to schedule any follow up care when you check out so we can make sure to accommodate you.

Our office is continuing to do curbside drop offs until further notice.

Face masks are required while dropping off or picking up your pet and for any other contact with the staff. We have disposable masks available if needed.

Thank you all for your patience during this time.
