D.A., City Controller, and Judges on the Ballot — Phila. Primary Election Tuesday

vote-buttonAs a nonprofit charity, the NLNA does not promote or endorse candidates. But we do encourage you to VOTE, tomorrow, May 21.Solid info on races, candidates, polling places, and more can be found at the nonpartisan Committee of Seventy web site: seventy.org.More information is available at the Philadelphia City Commissioners website. Some brief info:
  • Polls are open 7AM to 8PM. If you are in the polling place by 8PM, they have to let you vote.
  • You must show valid government-issued ID if it's your first time voting at the polling place
  • You are not required to show ID otherwise (poll workers are permitted to ask, but you are not required to show it)
  • A voter registration card is not necessary, and doesn't count as ID - however, it can sometimes be useful to help poll workers determine if you're at the correct polling place.
  • If you run into a problem at the polling place, you can always fill out a provisional, paper ballot. Don't let anyone deny you the right to cast a ballot.
