Sankhya Yoga Stays in Northern Liberties — A Direct Result Of Your Support

Sankyha YogaThis summer Northern Liberties’ SANKHYA  Yoga School & Wellness Center  is hosting Open Heart as part of the worldwide Wanderlust Festival on July 18th with free 60-minute Vinyasa classes, all day long... with air conditioning! The annual event wouldn't have happened in Philly this year were it not for Sankhya stepping up to the plate to fill the void.Happily, Sankhya Yoga's heart still beats as a result of their two-year residence at the Northern Liberties Community Center, which of course, is supported by the neighborhood.Due to the sale two years ago of the former Media Bureau building on 4th Street, owner Keirra Winters needed to find, buy and renovate the studio's new home at 413 Fairmount Avenue. The Community Center was able to house the small business during that time at a reduced rate enabling classes to continue while Keirra searched for a permanent home, here in the neighborhood.Support from Northern Liberties neighbors and business owners allows the NLNA’s Community Center to operate as a space for small businesses like Sankhya Yoga  to thrive and grow. Their success is a direct support of this support. So if you’re into yoga, check them out at the free Wanderlust Open Heart all-day, free classes on July 18 at 413 Fairmount AvenueClick HERE to find out more and register as space is limited...
