Saturday, December 20th at the Northern Liberties Community Center10am to noon —We need three specific kinds of volunteers:
- 3-4 people to assemble the food boxes, starting at 9 a.m. Traditionally a cold job (outside) but only takes an hour.
- 2 separate people-with-a-car to do a delivery. A good job for couples. Again, will only take an hour.
- 1 dedicated, smart, and organized person to ride along in the truck with Don to do most of the deliveries. This usually isn't done until about noon.
Please message me (Janet Finegar or park@nlna.org) if you can help!ANYTIME: Donations of money for food baskets are very very very welcome! We have our toys all set thanks to the generosity of Waterfront Square residents, Solo Realty, and Liberties_Babies parents. . . but your cash donation will help cover the cost of holiday meals for our local families and seniors in need. Donate to the NLNA by check (at 700 North 3rd Street) or through www.nlna.org Thank you!!!!
