Northern Liberties Children's Clothing Swap- Spring Edition – Sun, May 1
At the Northern Liberties Community Center, 700 N. 3rd Street
Bring the clothing that your children no longer need and swap it for what you can use.
Please bring clothing in GOOD condition. Nothing ripped, torn, broken, or stained, please.
For those of us with Teenagers, feel free to bring some of your own clothes. Same rules apply: Good condition, no rips, stains, and seasonally appropriate, please!
This is a great opportunity for those of you with very little ones and those of you who are expecting (please feel free to tell any pregnant friends) as we always have an enormous pile of newborn-infant clothing.
We always end up with several garbage bags full of leftover clothing so please do not be shy about taking. Do not feel like you HAVE to bring stuff in order to take stuff – There is more than enough to go around. The more stuff you take, the less I have to cram in my car at the end of the day.
Maternity clothing and things like baby blankets, crib bedding, nursing supplies, books (in good condition please) are acceptable but please no GEAR. We do not have the space for strollers, car seats, pack-n-plays, boppies, high chairs, etc.....NO toys or Gear.
NEW and UNOPENED/UNUSED Toys and clothing should be given to Janet, Sue, or Kat for Operation Santa
Last of all-help is always welcome for set up or clean up. Also, if you know of another good place to take donations, please speak up. We have had members take several bags of clothing to their churches, to schools with support for teen parents, and even have had people take a bag or two to other countries (Clowns Without Borders). So if you know of a place that has a need please feel free to let us know. See less
