NLNA Center Closed, Events Going Online

To promote community health and implement social distancing, the NLNA Office and Community Center are closed through the end of March. Rental and public use of the space are suspended.

The NLNA is still easily accessible. Here are ways to reach out:

  • Call the office at 215-627-6562
  • Email Lara Kelly at info@nlna.org
  • Click "Reply" to this or any other NLNA email
  • Put a note in our mail slot in the Fairmount Street door of the Community Center at 3rd & Fairmount.
  • Electronic communication typically will generate the quickest response, but voicemail and the mail will be checked regularly.

The March 26 Candidates' Night with PA primary candidates has been cancelled - but there is an alternative...
We are asking each candidate to record a brief video customized for our neighborhood, very similar to what they would have said at the event, and will make links available later this month. We're also working on getting Northern Liberties residents access to a planned live-streamed debate between PA State Sen. Larry Farnese and his primary challenger Nikil Saval.

The March 23 NLNA Zoning Committee meeting is cancelled.

NLNA board elections are in late May, with nominations in late April. Usually we open nominations via email in mid-April and close them in person at the April nominations meeting. This year it is possible we will have to dispense with the April meeting and do all nominations via email. Watch future emails for details on that.
