Help Find Forever Homes For Abandoned Tires...

Too many unsightly tires litter Philadelphia’s streets, sidewalks, parks, alleys, and riverbanks. The Streets Department has a way to make things better. It’s called the Tire Round-Up Program, and we need your help! It’s easy to register your Block or Community Group for the Tire Round-Up Program and help remove illegally discarded tires from our City.At the end of the program, volunteer groups that register for the program receive $.50 per tire (up to 1,000 tires) they collect and bring to a drop-off site. Groups are expected to use their proceeds from the Tire Round-Up Program for the worthwhile community and beautification projects. You MUST register your group to participate. Click here for more details on how to take part or contact the Philadelphia More Beautiful Committee at (215) 685-3981. Registration is limited, so please register early.Kick-Off Date: July 14, 2018For tire drop-off sites and schedules, click here.Thank you for helping Philadelphia reach its zero waste goals and being the ONE to make ZERO happen! —
