Community Mourns Passing of Frank Maimone

This past weekend Frank Maimone, longtime local resident and owner of the beloved Rustica on 2nd St, passed away in a skiing accident.

Frank was a key player in Northern Liberties' resurgence and tirelessly donated his time, energy, money, and delicious food to the NLNA and numerous other community nonprofits and charities. He was passionate about neighborhood quality of life and a powerful, articulate voice for the community's right to a high level of service and accountability from our city government.

His community legacy will live on with all the organizations he supported, and in the everyday joy Rustica gives to families all over our neighborhood and the city.

A viewing will be held this Saturday, February 15th, 10am-1pm at Healey Funeral Home, 9 White Horse Pike, Haddon Heights.
(Interment will be private.)

The family has requested donations in Frank's memory be made to the NLNA at www.nlna.org.

Friends can also donate to a GoFundMe effort which is raising funds for Frank's daughters' college fund.
