City Issues Heat Health Emergencies

Due to extremely hot conditions, the City has been issuing Heat Health Emergencies.

Call the Heatline for advice at (215) 765-9040 or Office of Homeless Services if you see someone on the street you think needs help at (215) 232-1984.The City has set up cooling centers and other resources--viewable on a map here. Cooling centers are open from 1pm-5pm today.During this extreme heat, be sure to stay hydrated and check on your neighbors and loved ones, even on days without an official Heat Health Emergency.Call 911 for medical emergencies.
