ALMOST GONE:FREE RAIN BARRELS AVAILABLE TO NL RESSIDENTS AND BUSINESSES

Because Northern Liberties is a Model Neighborhood for the Water Department's greening initiative, you can get a free rain barrel! Rain barrels capture storm water from your gutters and help prevent flooding. The water also can be used to water your garden or yard.Supplies are limited, so don't delay! Email NLNA Clean & Green Coordinator Lara Kelly, trash@nlna.org, and include the following info:

1. Your name (or business name) and address
2. Description of your downspout: shape (round or square), size (2"x3", 3" round, etc.), and texture (smooth or rippled)
3. Confirmation that you can fit a barrel 3 ft. high and 29" in your yard near a gutter downspout
