Northern Liberties Recreation Center321 Fairmount Ave.The Northern Liberties Rec Center is again offering clay classes - as well as Karate classes.Clay classes start Tuesday, October 2nd, and run weekly through December 18. Classes run from 7-9PM. All levels of experience are welcome. The course fee of $200 covers the entire 12-week session, including clay, tools, glazes, firings, and all instruction in a fully equipped studio. (Pro-rated fees will be available if there's still room after Oct. 2.)Uechi-ryu Karate Classes return to the Rec Center this month. Classes take place Tuesdays and Thursdays - 6-7PM for kids, and 7-8:30PM for adults. The cost is $80/month.Payment for either set of classes by cash or money order.
