Rain Check is a Philadelphia Water Department program that provides residents with resources to manage stormwater and beautify their homes. Through the program, PWD helps people pay for landscape improvements such as rain gardens or downspout planters that keep rain water from entering the sewer system.The program is open to all people with homes connected to the combined sewer system. To participate in the program, sign-up online at www.phillywatersheds.org/raincheck.Sign up by June 1st so that we can get started!We will begin property assessments on a rolling basis and the program will run from July 2014-June 2015.  Participating in Rain Check is a great way to improve your home and manage stormwater – all at a low cost to you.     —
