NLArts Summer Camp Registration – Limited Spots Left!

Our Middle School Art Summer Program is a unique place for older children to execute larger and more complicated art projects! Every week, campers entering 5th - 8th grades will create their own movie working with Poet Lindo!  From scripts to scenery, costumes to camera, come collaborate with your friends to make a short film.

NLArts Summer Camp is open to all children entering grades K-8th. We offer 4 separate weeks of summer camp with each week offering a unique program filled with hands on art instruction, guided learning, project creation, local field trips and an abundant amount of creativity and art projects galore to take home! 

Camps are full for grades 3 – 4 in June.
Camps are also full for grades K – 1 and 5 – 8 in August
However, there is still limited availability for other grades for all weeks!

Dates & Themes:

Week #1: June 22-26 -- Ceramics

Come play with clay!  Ceramic artist Natalie Wieters will work with our campers to create clay animals...real or imagined!  

Week #2: June 29-July 3 -- Fiber

Back by popular demand...tie dye and finger knitting!  We'll also explore weaving and stitching and more.

Week #3: August 17-21  -- Wood

In partnership with the Center for Art in Wood we'll investigate and creative with all the ways this amazing material is part of life and art!

Week #4: August 24-28 -- Masks & Puppets

Make your own character come alive with artist and educator Allison Frick!  Have fun performing with your laser cut creations and celebrate the end of summer.
