The NLNA joins the neighborhood and city in mourning the passing of Kurt Wunder.

Kurt, Tracy Stanton and Chris Sey created 700 Club bar in 1997 and made it a pillar of the community. It was an anchor in the rebirth of our neighborhood and will forever be a defining part of it.

Kurt was inextricably woven into the network of artists, movie production craftspeople, business owners, and community builders who formed the core of the Northern Liberties we all cherish and benefit from today. Inventive, irreverent, respected and loved by all, Kurt's loss is a grievous one. His legacy will live on in 700 and the hearts and minds of everyone who knew him and whose lives were touched by him.

We extend deepest condolences to his family and many friends.
