Since July of 2000 HOSTS for HOSPITALS has been providing lodging and caring support at volunteer Host-homes for patient-families coming from out-of-town for specialized medical care.  In February we passed a new milestone as we lodged our 3500th patient-family.  Many of of these patient-families were welcomed into the homes of caring host-families! 

Given the concentration of hospitals in Center City, we are especially interested in increasing our volunteer homes in the Northern Liberties area. I am hoping that may present HOSTS for HOSPITALS at one of the upcoming meetings.  A short 15 minute presentation would likely result in a few new HOSTS homes, making a greater impact for visiting families.
